Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses across diverse patient populations.
- Perform procedures such as venipuncture and other necessary clinical tasks.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care, including discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems like Cerner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices in patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical practices, particularly in areas such as gastroenterology, infectious disease care, emergency medicine, and psychopharmacology.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred; experience with children is a plus.
- Proficiency in performing venipuncture and other relevant clinical skills.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Cerner.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-directed.
- Knowledge of home care practices is advantageous.

Pay: $75.00 - $85.00 per hour
