How Will You Make An Impact & Requirements
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to Medical Assistants and non-physician clinical staff.
- Support both front and back office operations to ensure efficient workflow and patient throughput.
- Oversee patient check-in preparation by ensuring charts are prepared, medical records are accurate and current, and required documentation is complete.
- Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record visit information accurately.
- Explain procedures, perform treatments within scope of practice, and administer prescribed medications as authorized.
- Ensure scheduling accuracy, confirm patient appointments, and support follow-up visit coordination.
- Collect co-payments and ensure appropriate documentation and paperwork completion.
- Reconcile co-payments daily in accordance with financial procedures.
- Monitor compliance with clinical workflows, documentation standards, and operational policies.
- Participate in the hiring process, onboarding, and training of new associates.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to team members to promote performance, engagement, and accountability.
- Conduct and/or support monthly staff meetings to reinforce policies, updates, and best practices.
- Escalate operational or compliance concerns to practice leadership as appropriate.
Clinical Excellence & Patient Care
- Demonstrated proficiency in Medical Assistant clinical duties and scope of practice.
- Ensures accurate vital signs collection, documentation, and medication administration.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a physician office or healthcare setting.
- Current and valid Medical Assistant certificate / certification from an accredited training program required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills may be required depending on location or patient population.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.
- Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is required.
