We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide medication administration and monitor vital signs in accordance with care plans
- Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition
- Observe and document patient conditions, including changes in health status or behavior
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping and sanitation tasks
- Implement specialized care techniques such as Alzheimer's and dementia care, memory care, and hospice support
- Use assistive devices like Hoyer lifts safely during transfers and mobility assistance
- Follow HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and update individualized care plans
- Engage residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
Experience
Candidates should possess relevant experience or skills such as:
- Prior work in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia-related conditions
- Knowledge of patient monitoring, vital signs measurement, and medication administration
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and patient privacy standards
- Certifications such as First Aid and CPR are preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided if necessary
- Experience working with special populations including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring hospice or memory care services is highly valued
