Role Overview


We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales with an established network in the healthcare industry and a proven track record of selling medical billing, revenue cycle management (RCM), or healthcare services.

This role is responsible for driving new business growth by building relationships with physician practices, healthcare organizations, and decision-makers looking to outsource or improve their billing operations.

The ideal candidate is highly connected, consultative, and understands the financial and operational challenges healthcare providers face.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue Growth


  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within physician practices, clinics, and healthcare organizations
  • Leverage existing relationships and networks to generate qualified leads
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets


Strategic Selling


  • Position CareMax as a revenue recovery partner, not just a billing vendor
  • Conduct consultative sales conversations focused on:
  •  denial reduction
  •  revenue leakage
  •  cash flow improvement
  •  operational efficiency

Present tailored solutions based on client needs


Client Engagement


  • Engage with practice owners, C- Level executives, administrators, and revenue cycle leaders
  • Understand client pain points and translate them into actionable proposals
  • Lead proposal presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions


Market Expansion


  • Identify new verticals and specialty opportunities (e.g., Physicians, behavioral health, cardiology, urgent care, ER or hospitals etc.)
  • Develop partnerships and referral channels
  • Represent CareMax at industry events, conferences, and networking forums


Collaboration


  • Work closely with operations and leadership teams to ensure smooth client onboarding
  • Provide feedback on market trends, pricing, and service positioning
  • Help refine sales messaging and go-to-market strategy


Required Qualifications


5 years of sales experience in:


  •  medical billing services
  •  Revenue cycle management (RCM)
  •  healthcare outsourcing services
  • Proven track record of closing deals in healthcare services


Established network within:


  •  physician practices
  •  medical groups
  •  healthcare administrators


Strong understanding of:


  •  medical billing workflows
  •  denial management
  •  payer dynamics
  •  revenue cycle challenges
  • Experience with consultative / solution-based selling


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience selling to small and mid-sized medical practices
  • Background in healthcare operations, billing, or practice management
  • Familiarity with EHR/PM systems
  • Experience selling AI-enabled or technology-supported services

Compensation


  • Base salary range 60k to 90 k final compensation will be based on experience and market reach attractive performance-based commission
  • Uncapped earning potential
