Summary
Supplies and removes inventory to and from work cells in order to keep production operators working in an efficient manner. Assists the value stream leader in maintaining an organized and accurate inventory.

Must possess mobility to work in a standard warehouse/Manufacturing setting and work with and around a variety of equipment, parts, and inventory; strength, stamina, and mobility to perform medium physical work; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk to hear; occasionally required to climb stairs and perform tasks in low posture. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must regularly lift, move, and travel with up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; and rarely lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or calculator. Specific vision abilities required by this job include depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Must be capable to operate a Powered Industrial Vehicle, if needed the ability to obtain a Powered Industrial Vehicle Certificate.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Summary
Supplies and removes inventory to and from work cells in order to keep production operators working in an efficient manner. Assists the value stream leader in maintaining an organized and accurate inventory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
- Uses ERP system to make inventory transfers.
- Supplies and stocks parts to production lines in order to keep production workers operating efficiently.
- Conducts weekly cycle counts to ensure accurate inventories from generated counts, as supplied by logistics manager.
- Creates new Kanbans under the guidance of the Value Stream Leader.
- Uses ladders, forklift, hand-truck, and pallet jack to move, convey, or hoist product to and from warehouse racking.
- Palletize Dampers with the assistance of others in order to pass off to Warehouse to prepare for outside storage.
- Notifies the Value Stream Leader with potential shortages and other problems that could impact product availability.
- Assist in training of employees to the Kanban system.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Participates in continuous improvement activities and workspace organization improvement.
- Any other similar or associated duties necessary to accomplish job objectives, or as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

- Education High School Diploma/GED
- Experience 1 - 2 years’ experience in a Warehouse/Distribution environment
- Language and Communication Skills : The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively present information in a one on one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
- Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret charts.
- Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
