Physical Demands
The ability to stand 8 hours a day. The ability to reach and bend. The ability to frequently lift, push, or pull, up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity is required. The ability to wear safety shoes. The employee must be able to work in a state of constant alertness and in a safe manner.
WORK ENVIRONMENT : Manufucatuing and warehouse work areas. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, machinery, tools, and more, as the Mechanics area coincides within Warehouse. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate depending on the scope of work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
- Set-up and verification of all components for the pick and place machine
- Verify solder paste operation, load parts, reels trays and sticks to proper feed
- Perform manual component placement and inspect boards before start-up
- Read and utilize process documentation including Bill of Materials (BOM) and Assembly Drawings
- General machine cleaning, light duty maintenance and upkeep per the Standard Operating Procedures
- Work with site engineers and senior leaders to improve and refine processes
- Preform x-ray inspections on BGA components
- Inspecting parts for defects before and after the production process to ensure quality standards are met
- Observing manufacturing processes to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently
- Performing quality control checks on products to ensure they meet specifications
- Any other similar or associated duties necessary to accomplish job objectives, or as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

- Education High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience -1-2 yrs. of experience preferred or transferable knowledge from similar industries.
- Language and Communication Skills : The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively present information in a one on one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
- Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret charts.
- Reasoning & Problem Solving Skills - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. The ability to troubleshoot issues with machinery and equipment. Ability to identify and resolve safety concerns
- Attention to detail: ability to notice changes and make precise adjustments. Ability to identify defects and price high quality products
- Mechanical aptitude: ability to understand and use mechanical systems. Ability to troubleshoot issues with the machines and make adjustments to ensure they continue to function properly.
- Teamwork skills: Ability to work with other team members to complete job duties, identify issues and improve processes.
