The Digital Services Solution Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle of customer digital solution programs, from requirements definition to deployment and continuous evolution, executing Carel’s digital services strategy across the Americas.

Summary
The Digital Services Solution Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle of customer digital solution programs, from requirements definition to deployment and continuous evolution, executing Carel’s digital services strategy across the Americas.
The Role Requires
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and internal teams, and translate customer needs into clear functional and technical requirements and define the operational delivery model to ensure compliance with expected service levels
- Demonstrated expertise in software and enterprise IoT applications.
- Exceptional coordination skills, ensuring alignment among customers, internal stakeholders, and digital services partners.
- Strong management capabilities, including the ability to lead people, manage cross-functional projects, and drive initiatives to successful completion.
- Lead the full lifecycle management of customer digital solution programs, from initial requirements gathering through deployment, adoption, and ongoing evolution.
- Manage the operational delivery of the digital solution, by defining technical solution and activating process to be fully in compliance with expected Service Levels
- Translate customer needs into clear, structured, and prioritized requirements, including functional, technical, integration, cybersecurity, and performance expectations.
- Guide customers through the process of identifying the most effective technical path to achieve their objectives while meeting timelines, scalability, and long-term roadmap considerations.
- Negotiate scope, features, priorities, and phased delivery plans to align customer expectations with CAREL’s solution capabilities and execution capacity.
- Document program plans, requirements, decisions, and progress in appropriate internal systems and tools.
- Support strategic accounts and commercial teams by enabling business growth through effective use of CAREL’s digital solutions portfolio.
- Perform other duties assigned by the VP of Marketing.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each ESSENTIAL DUTY satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Competence on edge monitoring systems, cloud and enterprise software platforms and APIs.
- Competence on industrial communication protocols, including MQTT, BACnet, and Modbus, cybersecurity standards and system integration concepts.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Understanding of database management systems (DBMS), data modeling, and data integration concepts.
- Programmer background with Javascript, HTML and .Net competence.
- Ability to understand system architectures, data flows, and integration points across edge, cloud, and enterprise systems.
- Technical competence to understand customer needs, negotiate solution scope and delivery plans, and coordinate internal technical resources to execute the agreed strategy
- EDUCATION – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field preferred.
- LANGUAGE SKILLS – Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- REASONING SKILLS able to align the actions of self and surrounding internal and customer teams with strategy.
- EXPERIENCE – 5–10 years of experience in digital solution management, preferably industrial technology environments, HVAC and Refrigeration is a plus
- COMPETENCIES – Background in software/digital program management is strongly preferred; experience in controls or automation systems is a plus. (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, AI applications, demonstrated self-motivation resulting in high performance without constant supervision.)
- LANGUAGE SKILLS - The candidate must be fluent in English. Spanish is a plus.
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS – Sufficient to calculate return on investment periods and other monetized value.
