Job Summary
Caregivers Unlimited is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced PRN Caregiver to provide in-home care for a client on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
This position is ideal for a caregiver looking for part-time, flexible hours while making a meaningful difference in a client's daily life. The ideal candidate will be patient, reliable, attentive, and committed to providing quality care.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed.
- Provide companionship, supervision, and emotional support.
- Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
- Prepare meals and assist with eating when necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Provide medication reminders as directed by the care plan.
- Monitor and report changes in the client's condition or behavior.
- Encourage independence while ensuring the client's comfort, dignity, and safety.
- Follow the established care plan and company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving experience preferred.
- Experience providing in-home care or working with elderly or disabled individuals is a plus.
- Ability to assist with personal care and mobility needs.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Must be dependable, patient, and compassionate.
- Reliable transportation and consistent availability on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate concerns promptly.
Schedule & Availability
This is a PRN position with afternoon shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays, based on the client's needs.
Additional shifts may become available depending on staffing needs and caregiver availability.
