NY1641868 Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide

CareGivers located in Watertown, NY is hiring Home Health Aides and Personal Care Aides for Oswego Jefferson, and, Lewis Counties.

Essential Functions

Lifting, transferring, repositioning, and turning patients.(25 pounds) Giving a complete bed bath. Assist with bathing in sink, tub or shower. Assist with toileting. Use of equipment (mechanical lift, sideboard). Assist with ambulation with and without equipment. Assist with feeding. Light housekeeping. Errands and shopping. Meal preparation.

Purpose

Provide personal care and related services. Observe client and communicate and changes in status. Prepare and submit accurate and timely documentation of services provided to clients as required by Caregivers' policy and government regulations.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and vehicle
  • Pass a background check
  • Have an active or inactive CNA license, PCA certificate, HHA certificate, DSP or at least 3 months in the last three years of personal hands-on care
  • Be willing to get a physical and PPD
  • Be reliable, professional, and dependable

Wage

  • $18.65 per hour

  • All hours available and overtime
