Job Opening: Accounting Assistant/Accounting Clerk

Qualifications
- Some accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and think critically
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, etc.)
- Familiarity with accounting systems preferred (experience with AS400 / green screen systems is a plus, but not required)
- Process accounts payable (enter invoices, prepare and issue payments)
- Assist with accounts receivable and cash application
- Perform credit card reconciliations
- Support payroll processing, payroll tax payments, and quarterly and annual filings
- Provide general administrative and accounting support
- Assist with additional tasks as needed
