Caregiver for Seniors

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in need, including those with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions
- Assist with meal planning and preparation
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing living spaces
- Drive individuals to appointments, outings, and activities
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals in your care

Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of hospice care and working with individuals with autism is a plus
- Familiarity with healthcare systems and procedures is beneficial
- First aid certification is a plus
- Experience in direct support or working with individuals with special needs is highly desirable

Skills:
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with diverse populations
- Patience and understanding when working with individuals who may have challenging behaviors or communication difficulties
- Organizational skills to manage schedules, appointments, and medication administration

This role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to pass a background check.
