Overview
This position involves helping the elderly and disabled in their homes! You would be assisting with daily tasks such as bathing/showering, toileting, dressing, personal hygiene, light housekeeping, transferring, lots of meal preparation, medication reminders, etc. Morning, afternoon and weekend shifts available.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or senior care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them accurately.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Experience with medication administration is a plus.
- Strong cooking skills with an emphasis on meal preparation for special dietary needs.
- Ability to physically assist with standing and transferring.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and empathy towards clients are essential qualities for this role.
- Must be reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently while following instructions.
