In-Home Caregiver

Overview

We are seeking caring and dependable In-Home Caregivers to provide personalized, one-on-one support to clients in their own homes. In this role, you will help enhance clients' quality of life by promoting independence, safety, and overall well-being while offering compassionate companionship.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Provide medication reminders and assist with monitoring vital signs as needed
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to support emotional well-being
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
• Observe and report changes in clients' health or behavior to supervisors or healthcare professionals
• Collaborate with families and care teams to ensure individualized, high-quality care

Qualifications

• Genuine compassion, patience, and empathy
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to follow care plans and work independently
• Flexible, dependable, and able to remain calm in changing situations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in caregiving, senior care, or healthcare (preferred but not required)
• Familiarity with personal care, geriatric care, or hospice support
• Experience with meal preparation, medication reminders, and vital sign monitoring
• HCA registration, CPR certification, and TB test (or willingness to obtain)
