Summary
We are seeking an In Home Caregiver to help my elderly Father. This role is essential in providing compassionate care and support. Ideally, we are looking for a live in person, where we would supply room and board.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance for my Father.
- Support my father with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Reminders for taking medications
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with the family, and healthcare professionals regarding care plans.
- Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs (as needed).
- Minor medical care, such as applying lotions, ointments, etc
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient care practices and resident rights.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and assisting clients.
