Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing customized sterile intravenous admixtures and other specialized, patient-specific medications. Operating primarily within a controlled 503A cleanroom environment, you will play a critical, hands-on role in ensuring medication safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Specialized Training: Completed an accredited sterile compounding training program or hold a Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT) credential.
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License or Registration in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
- Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) status.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a sterile compounding pharmacy, inpatient hospital pharmacy, infusion center, or 503B compounding facility.
- Hazardous Compounding: Prior experience handling and compounding cytotoxic or hazardous drugs (USP <800> compliance).
