What are the responsibilities and job description for the PCA/Direct Support Worker position at Carefree Home Services?
We are a well-established PCA/CFSS Agency that provides personal cares to individuals with disabilities. Currently looking for a compassionate and patient PCA/Direct Support Worker to assist with activities of daily living in a home environment. Assisting with behaviors, redirection, personal cares and ensuring a safe environment for a non-verbal child with autism.
Weekdays starting at 7:30 am until 3:30pm. Hours will change during fall when school starts.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have some experience as a PCA/Direct Support Worker.
- Must have experience with behaviors.
- Must have some knowledge and experience with autism.
- Have good work ethics.
- Must be caring, compassionate, patient and willing to learn.
- Must be able to follow instructions.
- Must have a current driver's license with a good driving record.
- Must have 2 forms of ID (photo ID and SS card or Birth Certificate).
- Must pass the required MN DHS criminal background study that requires fingerprints and photo.
- Must successfully complete the online CFSSPCA Training, the Vulnerable Mandated Reporter Training that is required by MN DHS.
- Must be Fluent in English with speaking, understanding, reading, and writing.
