Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the boat club.
- Lead, train, schedule, and motivate dock staff and customer service team members.
- Ensure boats are clean, fueled, maintained, and ready for member reservations.
- Deliver exceptional member service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and creating positive experiences.
- Support membership onboarding and educate new members on club policies, safety procedures, and boat operation.
- Monitor reservation systems and coordinate fleet availability.
- Conduct routine inspections of boats, docks, equipment, and facilities.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel and vendors to ensure timely repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain compliance with all company safety standards and local boating regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, purchasing, and operational supplies.
- Support club events, marketing initiatives, and member engagement activities.
- Must be willing to take on a wide range of responsibilities and perform any tasks necessary to support the success and growth of the business.
Qualifications
- Preffered 2–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in hospitality, recreation, marina operations, retail, or a related customer-focused industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Weekend and holiday availability during the boating season.
- Basic computer proficiency with scheduling and reservation software.
- Valid driver's license.
- Boating experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
