Summary
We are seeking a motivated LPN or RN to join our team at CareFirst Home Care We are looking for a compassionate, qualified nurse to provide in-the-home care for pediatric client.
In this role, you will provide essential nursing care to a client in their home, ensuring their comfort and well-being while supporting their health goals. Your contributions will be vital in delivering high-quality care and improving the lives of those we serve.
Part-time and Full-time position available. Monday through Friday, 7am-6pm
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patients' health status and report any changes to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with daily living activities and skilled nursing needs.
- Educate families about health management and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of care provided.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama or compact license.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and families.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Preferred Experience
- 2 years in a hospital or facility setting
- Tracheostomy Care/Ventilator Experience
- Tube Feeding
