Summary

We are seeking a motivated LPN or RN to join our team at CareFirst Home Care. In this role, you will provide essential nursing care to a client in their home, ensuring their comfort and well-being while supporting their health goals. Your contributions will be vital in delivering high-quality care and improving the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor patients' health status and report any changes to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with daily living activities and skilled nursing needs.
• Educate families about health management and wellness strategies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of care provided.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama or compact license.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and families.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Preferred Experience

• 2 years in a hospital or facility setting
• Tube Feeding
• Oxygen therapy

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
