Litigation Attorney – Personal Injury (Plaintiff Side)
Position Overview
A well-established plaintiff-side law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with a strong background in Personal Injury litigation on the plaintiff side. This role requires hands-on trial experience, as the attorney will attend up to 4–5 trials per year. Candidates must have direct experience handling personal injury matters from intake through trial.
This position is not open to candidates with defense-side experience or backgrounds primarily in family law, property law, or other non-personal injury practice areas.
Practice Focus
- Auto accidents
- Premises liability
- General personal injury and liability matters
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a litigation caseload of approximately 40–60 active files
- Handle cases from pre-suit through trial
- Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
- Collaborate with internal legal staff to prepare cases for trial
- Attend and actively litigate multiple trials per year (up to 5 annually)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience
- Proven trial experience is required
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures
- Ability to independently manage a full caseload
- Plaintiff-side background is mandatory
Preferred Background
- Experience at high-volume plaintiff firms with similar litigation models
- Familiarity with fast-paced personal injury environments
Support Structure
- Dedicated paralegal
- Dedicated litigation assistant
Work Environment
- Hybrid schedule with up to 2 remote days per week, based on business needs
- Standard hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with some flexibility
Interview Process
- Round 1: Virtual interview with a partner
- Round 2: Panel interview with 3–4 partners
- Round 3 (if applicable): Interview with the CEO
Salary : $150,000 - $230,000
