We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to oversee the accounting operations of our organization. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial activities. The Controller will manage financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, support strategic decision-making, and guide process improvements across the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and tax reporting.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal financial controls and procedures.
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process; act as primary liaison with external auditors.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, delivering timely analysis and insights.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, supporting training and professional development.
- Assist the CFO with strategic planning, financial modeling, and key business decisions.
- Oversee accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Implement and optimize accounting systems, software, and process improvements to improve efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a managerial role.
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
- Proficiency with major accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- Russian language skills are a plus but not required.

Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
