The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Senior Manager of Production Planning and Facilities at its Food Innovation Center. This position is in Bridgeton, NJ (Cumberland County – South Jersey- Two Hours South of NB Campus). The Senior Manager will provide leadership for production planning, commercialization, food safety, labor management, quality assurance and the associated steps to bring a food product to market. Implements and maintains sanitation and production programs and personnel training, in compliance FDA and USDA regulations for the manufacturing of food products. We are seeking a candidate with:
- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- At least 7 years of food industry supervisory experience required, ideally in a supervisory position in the fields of food manufacturing, production planning, facilities management, compliance, and/or sanitation within food processing environments.
- Plant Operations and/or experience managing all activities involved in a departmental / cross functional environment. Technical expertise in bottling line and related equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment, and with clients on a regular basis for all their business support needs.
