East Baking Company, a national leader in private label baked goods, is looking for a hands-on Production Manager to join our team. In this role, you won’t just supervise from the office—you’ll lead from the floor, ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery production lines, mentoring team members, and driving results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily production and packaging operations.
- Lead, train, and develop production line staff to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality.
- Enforce GMPs, OSHA standards, and company policies.
- Monitor production goals and adjust workflow to meet deadlines.
- Identify process improvements and minimize waste.
- Partner with maintenance, quality, sanitation, and shipping teams to resolve issues and maintain standards.
- Maintain accurate records, including schedules, reports, and attendance.
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience experience required (food manufacturing preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Knowledge of production equipment, safety protocols, and continuous improvement practices.
