S Group is looking for an Accounting Coordinator to join our team! CS Group is a national beverage manufacturer of premium juice, juice mixers, lemonade and more! **This is an in-office role located in Hazelwood, MO**
Roles & Responsibilities:
- All Accounts Payable across multiple companies
- Receipt of raw materials and packaging into inventory
- Receive, process, and record company credit card expenses based on monthly expense reports from employees
- Communicate with vendors regarding payables
- Assist with physical inventory count
- Credit and collections projects
- Ad hoc analysis projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 1-2 years of experience in Accounting
*Manufacturing accounting, or food and beverage manufacturing experience a plus
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Experience with using SAP or an integrated ERP system, or willingness to learn
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
- Basic understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory, cost accounting, with a willingness to grow and learn
- A desire to develop more efficient yet accurate ways to complete tasks assigned and contribute new ideas on how to improve certain departmental processes
- Flexible, able to balance workload with guidance from management if needed, and openness to change
- Ability to work independently when needed, but also has an eagerness to learn and advance in their Accounting skills
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Extraordinary interpersonal skills to work in conjunction with other departments
- Must be able to analyze data, draw conclusions, interpret results, and make recommendations
