The Royal Group Seymour, a subsidiary of Schwarz Partners, currently has an exciting opportunity available for a Forklift Operator in Seymour, IN. As a Forklift Operator you will be responsible for all activities associated with safely operating and caring for the forklift including operation, cleanup and recommendation of improvements.

TRG requires the following skills and abilities:

High school diploma or GED

Preferred that employees have prior work experience in the corrugated industry or other 2-4 years’ work experience

Required to maintain a current Forklift Operator License

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure

Ability to use and read a tape measure
-
Ability to read and comprehend instructions
-
Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to multitask

An energetic, motivated, and dependable worker that is dedicated to the job and team

The ability to function as a mature, professional individual, who interacts positively with teammates.

The willingness to function effectively in a team environment and tackle any task required for the success of the team.
As a Forklift Operator you will:
- Operate and care for a forklift in a safe manner; must be qualified to operate
- Maintain neat, orderly and safe stacks of stock in storage areas and when loading trailers
- Assist other forklift operators as necessary
- Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
- Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs; be proactive in the maintenance of equipment
- Stretch wrap units, palletize and use corner protectors as required
- Unload trailers as needed while checking product’s quality and quantity
- Regular and predictable attendance with overtime allowance as job requires
- Keep warehouse organized and clean
- Make regular cycle counts on stock and actively participate in all inventories
- Additional duties as assigned
