Job Description:

Manages and resolve complex IT issues, ensures smooth operations of IT infrastructure support at Picatinny, New Jersey. Works closely with customer IT administrators to ensure software updates are completed with minimal disruption. Acts as the point of contact for the implementation of IT security requirements.

• Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and cloud services.
• Ensure system software is current, complying with IT Security requirements, and system installations, modifications, and upgrades are communicated and coordinated with all impacted stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software errors with diagnostics, document problems, prioritize problems, assess impact, and assist with resolution.
• Participate in desktop and helpdesk support efforts, such as application requirements or equipment problems.

Education: Associate’s degree in information technology or systems or related field.

 

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $70k - $95k
• Schedule: M-F, 8-hrs/days
• 401K with up to 4% employer matching contribution
• 3 weeks (120 hrs/year) Paid Time Off (PTO), 11 Federal holidays, and Sick Leave

Job Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
• 5 years’ experience providing IT support of military programs.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure used by DEVCOM AC.

Bonus points if you have:

• Certifications in CompTIA Security and A .
• Experience working in DEVCOM IT environment.
• Experience in supporting DEVCOM RDT&E contracts.
• Experience in data management of government systems is desirable.
