Summary of Position:
Provide administrative support to the director, office manager, and administrative team, of Head Start/Early Head Start of ECLC. Support includes advanced clerical tasks, document production, creation and distribution and purchasing. Must have excellent customer service, and a critical thinker. Oversee the organization's office reception area. This position is classified as highly confidential and involves organization & coordination of multiple tasks.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required and one year's experience in general office practices with emphasis on reception, and customer service
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in general office practices, with an emphasis on reception and customer service
- Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license and must be insured through Santo Domingo Pueblo's liability insurance plan.
- Must be able to satisfactorily pass a background check and a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a Head Start, Early Head Start, Early Childhood education, or similar program setting preferred.
- Knowledge of Head Start administrative functions is highly desirable
- Bilingual in English and Keres preferred
- Experience with editing, note-taking, keyboarding/data entry
