We’re partnering with a leading manufacturer and distributor of loose abrasives and ceramic materials- trusted by customers in surface finishing, blasting, and materials processing applications for over 40 years.
We’re seeking a Sales & Business Development Manager to expand market presence and strengthen customer relationships throughout the Northwest. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with the Northwest General Manager to support existing business and pursue new opportunities in abrasives, ceramics, and toll processing.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the Northwest territory, driving new business across abrasives and ceramic product lines.
- Serve as the primary contact for customer accounts—ensuring strong communication, service, and satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue materials and process opportunities for market expansion.
- Build and manage relationships with key customers, vendors, and distributors.
- Coordinate delivery, invoicing, and inventory with internal teams.
- Field and resolve customer concerns with professionalism and urgency.
- Maintain CRM records and report regularly on sales activities, forecasts, and results.
- Collaborate with leadership on risk management and strategic planning.
What You Bring
- 5 years of sales or business development experience in abrasives, ceramics, or industrial materials (distribution or manufacturing).
- Strong understanding of B2B industrial sales cycles and long-term account management.
- Proven ability to identify growth opportunities and convert them into measurable results.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Willingness to travel regionally (with occasional domestic/international trips).
