Process Development Associate

Job Title: Process Development Associate
Location: San Diego, CA 92121
Contract Duration: 12 Months (Possibilities of Extension)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (First Shift)
Pay Rate: $29.50//hour. on W2

Job Summary:
Responsible for commercial manufacturing and process transfer from R&D to Manufacturing. Supports continuous improvement of existing processes while maintaining cGMP conditions.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manufacturing of development, pilot, and production materials
• Maintain Pilot Plant lab under cGMP compliance
• Execute ERP transactions and complete accurate documentation
• Maintain lab supplies and perform cycle counts
• Support process validation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Wash labware and keep lab organized
• Adhere to documentation practices for notebook entries and production records

 
Qualifications:
Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field

Experience:

• 1 years preferred in manufacturing or lab setting
• Exposure to QMS / GMP environments

Skills:

• Knowledge of GMP and basic quality systems
• Ability to complete technical documentation
• Strong organization and time management skills

 
Physical Demands:

• Stand, walk, kneel, reach, crouch as needed
• Lift/carry up to 40 lbs
• Work around moving mechanical parts, vibration, and moderate noise
• Exposure to hazardous chemicals and blood/serum samples
• Required: Safety shoes (provided by employer)
