Title:Phlebotomist I
Location:Doral, FL
Shift: M-F - 7am-3pm Every Saturday l 6:30am-11am
Duration: 5 months
NOTE: ONSITE INTERVIEWS FOR THIS POSITION WILL BE HELD WEDNESDAYS/THURSDAYS BETWEEN 2-4PM AT THE MIRAMAR LAB LOCATION
Summary:
The PSR I serves as the front-line representative, performing skilled blood draws and preparing specimens for lab testing. This role involves direct patient interaction, ensuring comfort, safety, and confidentiality while following standard procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and specimen processing with accuracy

Maintain a professional, safe, and patient-focused environment

Accurately document and manage patient information

Follow clinical and forensic collection protocols

Requirements:

Strong phlebotomy skills (including pediatric/geriatric)

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Flexible availability (weekends, holidays, on-call, overtime)

Excellent customer service and data entry skills
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)

Medical assistant or paramedic training (Preferred)

Phlebotomy certification (Preferred; Required in CA, NV, WA)
Experience:

Minimum 6 months experience in phlebotomy (REQUIRED)

1 year preferred

Prior customer service experience preferred
