Shift: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
Pay Range: $30-$33/hr.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing (including garnishments, taxes, and year-end activities)
Experience processing payroll for hourly and salaried employees
Experience calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, and payroll deductions including tax withholdings, garnishments, and benefits (401k)
Experience maintaining employee payroll records and managing time and attendance records
Experience reconciling payroll records and assisting with payroll audits
Ability to investigate and resolve employee payroll discrepancies and inquiries
Analytical skills related to retro calculations of pay and time
Ability to work with multiple systems simultaneously
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll calculations and data entry
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling employee payroll data
Knowledge of payroll compliance including federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Strong communication skills to work with HR, finance, and employees
Preferred Skills & Experience
FPC or CPP certification preferred
Experience using payroll and HR systems such as Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft, or ADP
Associate or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
Prior experience in payroll, accounting, or human resources environments
Education
