This role involves individual and group counseling, behavioral modification strategies, and potential family therapy support. Services are delivered in an outpatient setting, serving both PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) and IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) clients.

- Work Hours: 40 hours/week (8-hour shifts)
- Floating Expectations: May float to residential SUD facility
Job Summary:
The Licensed Counselor provides treatment and recovery-focused support to adult patients experiencing substance use disorders (SUD) and related behavioral challenges. This role involves individual and group counseling, behavioral modification strategies, and potential family therapy support. Services are delivered in an outpatient setting, serving both PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) and IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) clients.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic counseling to adults recovering from substance use and behavioral disorders
- Support patient recovery using evidence-based practices and personalized treatment planning
- Provide documentation using EHR-HCS systems in a timely and compliant manner
- Work collaboratively with behavioral health associates (BHAs) and other clinical staff
- Participate in treatment team meetings and client progress assessments
- Support a recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care environment
- May assist with family counseling and education as needed
Skills & Requirements:
- Licensure: Must hold active LCAD II, LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license
- Education: Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (Required)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a recovery or addiction treatment setting
- Preferred: Prior experience with SUD (Substance Use Disorder) clients
- Documentation Platform: Electronic Health Records – HCS
- Physical & Work Environment Requirements: Ability to work in both outpatient and potentially residential settings
