Shift time: 4days 6am start but is flexible. ( 10hours per day)
Duration: 12 Months W2 contract
Description:
How will you make an impact? We are seeking a strong electro-mechanical assembler (temporary) who will build, test, integrate, troubleshoot, and qualify electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies for our systems following standard practices and procedures.
What will you do?
- Reads and interprets schematics and assembles a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, or opto-mechanical sub-assemblies.
- Follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
- Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to specifications.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and optical systems.
- Work with manufacturing engineers to resolve incoming quality or design issues.
- Making suggestions on current schematics and mechanical drawings is also encouraged.
How will you get here?
Education:
High school diploma required . Associates or Bachelors in a technical discipline preferred.
Experience:
High school diploma required. Associates or Bachelors in a technical discipline preferred. Typically requires greater than 5 years of related experience, or a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrate the required skills. Must have experience using basic hand tools to assemble and disassemble equipment, including screwdrivers, wrenches, soldering equipment, cable cutters & strippers, etc. General understanding of electrical power flow. Comfortable with repetitive task
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Proficient computer skills using Windows, MS Office, and other PC-based software .Able to safely lift and manipulate 50 pounds. Must be able to read technical drawings including assembly drawings, BoMs, schematics, etc. Excellent manual dexterity - able to work with small objects and microProducts .Quick learner with verbal and written instructions. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Fluent in English with good communication skills; must be able to write daily pass downs. Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance.
