As a Credit Data Analyst, your day will be filled with opportunities to review and create reports for pertinent credit and financial information, including third party collateral monitoring of stocks, trust accounts and individual brokerage accounts securing active loans. Commercial or Private Banking operations experience is important while Stock Yards Bank will provide a professional environment to continually improve the candidate’s skills and to further his/her career goals for advancement to higher levels within the banking profession.
Responsibilities
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Actively monitors third party collateral securing current commercial loans including stocks, trust accounts and individual brokerage accounts on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Completes quality control edit checks for Asset Based Lending credits.
- Assists the Credit Department Manager with Credit Policy development.
- Build and maintain financial reporting and covenant tickler tracking within the bank’s credit software system.
- Prepares and distributes for management a variety of recurring reports for use in the administration of the commercial loan portfolio.
- Assists in preparing loan packages for committee meetings.
- Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines.
- Performs related and unrelated duties as may be required.
- Participate on an annual basis in the validation of current life insurance policies that secure commercial loans.
- Perform job duties of other Credit Administration tasks as needed.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience
- 3 years of Commercial or Private Banking experience
- Knowledge of approval process
- Knowledge of financial statement analysis
- Computer skills
- Organizational skills
- Excellent writing skills
