Council is currently seeking a Casual Pound Officer.
This position will assist with the daily care and administration of companion animals (dogs and cats) and cleaning of the pound facility.

Job/Responsibilities
Council is currently seeking a Casual Pound Officer.
This position will assist with the daily care and administration of companion animals (dogs and cats) and cleaning of the pound facility.
Duties Will Include But Are Not Limited To
- Daily care and monitoring of companion animals
- Cleaning of enclosures and pound facility
- Assisting vets whilst they provide treatment to stray companion animals in Council’s care if required
- Maintaining and updating the communication and pound register.
- Class C Drivers Licence
- Previous experience working in animal care, control, cleaning or similar
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work with limited supervision and work weekends
- Qualifications (or currently studying) animal handling/welfare are desirable
