Job/Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, this position is primarily responsible for supporting the management of our budgets across Council. This includes:
- Supporting Council’s Senior Management Accountant in the timely production of Council’s Annual and Quarterly Budgets and Council’s Annual Fees & Charges.
- Supporting, advising, training and liaising with Council staff, including Managers and Directors, in preparation of budget reviews and project reviews.
- Completing comprehensive monthly management reporting processes, including detailed analysis and advice.
So what do you need?
- Bachelor of Accounting, or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience with accounting packages
- A demonstrated ability to analyse and report on financial data
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- Ability to obtain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check
