Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Scheduling/Billing coordinator for the Adult Echo Lab in Cardiac Services Non-Invasive department at Morristown Medical Center. Previous billing experience required. Certification preferred.
Essential Function/Responsibilities:
- Reviews studies to ensure echo procedure ordered and echo procedure performed agree.
- Ensures echo procedure performed and billed agree.
- Obtains all pertinent patient information to schedule inpatient and outpatient procedures accurately.
- Ensures electronic orders/script are complete and appropriate; diagnosis codes are included.
- Maintains a professional attitude and exhibits proper, professional phone etiquette. Organized, legible handwriting. Excellent communication skills a must.
