Summary of Position
Responsible for supporting energy management team in EMS program management and diagnostics, lighting maintenance, and utility cost savings initiatives. Role functions include : equipment repair diagnostics, work order management, project management on energy efficiency projects and utility bill tracking and analysis. Energy Analyst will support and work closely with store associates to make sure energy systems are in working order.
Summary of Position
- Has a working knowledge of building management and energy management principles and concepts to include the review and implementation of programs and concepts.
- Understands and can implement demand response programs with various utility companies and validate the savings calculations for that event.
- Responsible for supporting peak load curtailment programs in retail stores.
- Responsible for implementing energy management schedules in over 16,000 store locations.
- Perform equipment diagnostics to evaluate energy consumption and to identify outliers.
- Responsible for running store comfort and equipment performance reports to provide energy management and HVAC teams with actionable data.
- Ability to work with third-party providers to include utility companies, rebate companies, energy management platforms, and lighting vendors
- Responsible for identifying, investigating and providing recommendations on high energy usage locations.
- Responsible for identifying and managing store retrofits for energy efficiency upgrades.
- Responsible for tracking and executing energy efficiency projects.
- Responsible for implementing the lighting maintenance program
