3rd Shift Assembly Supervisor

SUMMARY:

Morales Professional Services is currently working on behalf of a manufacturing client, located in Indianapolis, to help them secure a 3rd Shift ( 11pm-7am ) Manufacturing Supervisor. This role will coordinate activities of both Team Leaders and Manufacturing Associates during the shift, ensuring production schedules are met.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate with Production Manager and Customer Service Manager the assembly regarding shift production schedules.
• Assign team members to assembly jobs as production schedule requires.
• Train team leaders in work methods and procedures.
• Routinely inspect production areas to ensure conformance of assembled parts/components with procedures provided.
• Ensure paperwork for areas of responsibility is completed and accurate.
• Ensure parts, components and materials are accurately logged out from the warehouse for team members.
• Ensure parts, components and materials are labeled accurately and accurately logged into the warehouse for team members.
• Account for assembly efficiency rates.
• Coordinate equipment repairs with Process Engineer.
• Coordinate with Production Manager and Quality Manager actions required to address quality concerns.
• Participate in production and supervisor meetings as schedules.
• Participate with Human Resource Manager or their designee to develop effective training programs.
• Ensure team members are following all policies and procedures.

POSITION REQUIRMENTS:

High School graduate or GED with demonstrated history as a Production Supervisor or Group Leader in a manufacturing and/or assembly production environment. Must have good leadership along with excellent communication skills.
