As a Funeral Director, you'll play a vital part in guiding families through difficult moments with compassion, and attention to detail. You'll Arrange meaningful funeral services, coordinate every aspect of the service experience, oversee the care/preparation of the deceased, and ensure each family's wishes are honored.
You'll collaborate closely with fellow funeral professionals, local clergy, cemeteries, crematories, and community partners while contributing to the success of the funeral home and delivering the highest standard of care to the families we serve.
Required Qualifications
- Active Connecticut Funeral Director license as required by state regulations
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
- Demonstrated experience in funeral service or a related field
- Strong understanding of funeral service laws, regulations, and ethical standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple arrangements while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
