Location: Madison, WI 53719 (West Side)
Property: 191-unit luxury apartment community, 5 stories, built in 2024
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
On-call: Primary on-call technician

We are seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician III who can work independently and take ownership of the daily maintenance and upkeep of our premium apartment community.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders, repairs, and apartment make-readies
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, and appliances
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic HVAC troubleshooting
• Maintain grounds, common areas, amenities, and building systems
• Perform snow removal and other seasonal maintenance
• Coordinate vendors, scheduling, and follow-up
• Serve as the primary on-call technician for emergency maintenance
• Help maintain a safe, attractive, and well-functioning community

A cleaning company services the property, but this position is responsible for the community's overall upkeep and appearance.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of apartment or facilities maintenance experience
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, and appliances
• CPO certification a plus, (must be open to obtaining a CPO)
• HVAC experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
• Experience with vendors, work orders, and apartment make-readies preferred
