Locations: Provo & Spanish Fork, UT
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Position: Floating/Hybrid Maintenance Technician

Career Strategies is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician to support two apartment communities located in Provo and Spanish Fork, Utah.

This is a floating/hybrid maintenance position where the technician will divide their schedule between both properties based on maintenance needs, work orders, unit turns, and property priorities. We are looking for a dependable and experienced maintenance professional who is comfortable working independently, traveling between the two nearby communities, and supporting multiple properties as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Float between apartment communities in Provo and Spanish Fork based on scheduled maintenance needs and property priorities
• Complete resident work orders and maintenance requests
• Perform apartment make-readies and unit turns
• Troubleshoot and complete plumbing repairs
• Perform electrical repairs and troubleshooting
• Assist with HVAC repairs and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose and repair common household appliances
• Complete drywall repairs, painting, and touch-ups
• Perform basic carpentry and general property repairs
• Assist with preventative maintenance throughout both communities
• Help maintain property grounds and common areas as needed
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Communicate professionally with residents, property managers, and maintenance teams
• Help maintain a high level of resident satisfaction
• Complete additional maintenance duties as assigned at either property

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of apartment/multifamily maintenance experience required
• Experience completing apartment turns, make-readies, and resident work orders
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, drywall, painting, and general property repairs
• Comfortable working at and traveling between properties in Provo and Spanish Fork
• Reliable transportation required
• HVAC/EPA certification is a plus but not required
• CPO certification is a plus
• Must have basic maintenance tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
• Ability to prioritize maintenance needs across multiple properties
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must successfully complete a thorough background screening
