Career Strategies is now hiring an experienced Leasing Consultant for apartment communities in Reno, NV. This position requires traveling between three different apartment communities within the Reno area. Candidates must have at least one year of prior apartment leasing experience and be comfortable working at multiple properties.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Saturday through Wednesday (Thursday and Friday off)
Location: Reno, NV – Three Apartment Communities
Start Date: ASAP

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and professional Leasing Consultant with excellent customer service and sales skills. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently while supporting leasing operations across multiple apartment communities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours and assist prospective residents with finding their new homes.
• Answer incoming calls, respond to leasing inquiries, and follow up with prospective residents.
• Process rental applications, prepare lease paperwork, and assist with move-ins and renewals.
• Maintain positive resident relationships and address resident questions and concerns professionally.
• Assist with general administrative duties, filing, recordkeeping, and property management software.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams, vendors, and property management staff.
• Support leasing goals, occupancy targets, and overall property operations.
• Travel between three assigned apartment communities in the Reno area as needed.
• Assist with additional leasing and administrative projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of apartment leasing experience required.
• Must be able to reliably travel between three different properties in Reno, NV.
• Must be available to work Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
• Strong customer service, communication, and sales skills.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Intermediate computer skills; experience with property management software preferred.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different property environments.
• Dependable, motivated, and hardworking.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must successfully complete a background check.
