Apartment Leasing Consultant

Career Strategies is hiring experienced Leasing Consultants for apartment communities throughout the Minneapolis Saint Paul Metro area. We are seeking energetic, customer-focused professionals who enjoy working with people and creating a positive leasing experience for prospective and current residents.
This role is perfect for candidates with previous apartment leasing, sales, hospitality, customer service, retail, or property management experience. Successful Leasing Consultants understand how to build relationships, close leases, and contribute to community occupancy goals while delivering exceptional customer service.
As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for touring prospective residents, assisting with leasing paperwork, supporting resident relations, and helping maintain a welcoming office and community environment.
Daily Responsibilities:
• Conduct apartment tours for prospective residents
• Answer leasing inquiries by phone, email, and in person
• Process rental applications and lease agreements
• Maintain knowledge of pricing, availability, and community features
• Support occupancy and leasing goals
• Assist with resident relations and customer service
• Follow up with prospects and maintain leasing traffic records
• Assist with marketing and outreach efforts
• Maintain organized leasing files and paperwork
• Work closely with office and maintenance teams
Qualifications:
• Previous leasing or customer service experience preferred
• Sales experience is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Professional and positive attitude
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment
• Property management software experience preferred
• Yardi, RealPage, Onesite, Entrata, or similar software experience is a plus
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance
