Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist

The Accounts Receivable position will oversee cash applications for 600 home loans and collections to ensure accounts are current. This position offers a unique blend of cash applications, collections, and accounts payable duties as well as assisting the supervisor with month-end reconciliation and month-end reporting.

General Accountabilities

·       Responsible for home loan cash applications.

·       Responsible for collections.

·       Responsible for some accounts payable.

·       Maintenance of new loans, including reviewing documents for accuracy and completion.

·       Generation and processing of welcome letters, statements, and past-due notices.

·       Assist with month-end closing including bank reconciliation and monthly reporting to management for multiple companies.

·       Position duties and work schedule may change according to business needs at any time or as instructed by management.

Job Qualifications

·        Minimum 3 years of payables, receivables, or general accounting experience required

·        AA in Accounting and/or strong understanding of accounting principles

·        Spanish speaking preferred

·        Excel skills - intermediate to advance
