Apartment Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking Maintenance Technicians to join our team! You will be responsible for completing work orders, vacant unit turnovers and other required tasks. Minimum 2 years of experience in the apartment industry and a valid drivers license is required. HVAC certification is a plus but optional. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Complete service requests and repair orders in a timely manner.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Lock Changes
• Minor plumbing repairs
• Replace Ballasts
• Minor electrical repairs.
• Maintain the aesthetic appeal of the community.
• Strong commitment to customer service and maintaining good resident relations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experienced in maintenance or other related fields such as construction or handyman skills.
• Plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
• Ability to handle physical workload and troubleshoot.
• Deadline and detailed-oriented.
• Reliable means of transportation.
• Professional appearance.
• Proven ability to be prompt and on time every day.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision as needed, however, follow directions as given.
• Follow all confidentially, fair housing laws and safety requirements.
• Required to pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
• Drug test is required.
