What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apartment Maintenance Technician position at Career Strategies - Bay Area?
We are currently seeking Maintenance Technicians to join our team! You will be responsible for completing work orders, vacant unit turnovers and other required tasks. Experience in the apartment industry and HVAC certification is a plus but optional. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Complete service requests and repair orders in a timely manner.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Lock Changes
- Minor plumbing repairs
- Replace Ballasts
- Minor electrical repairs.
- Maintain the aesthetic appeal of the community.
- Strong commitment to customer service and maintaining good resident relations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experienced in maintenance or other related fields such as construction or handyman skills.
- Plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall.
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
- Ability to handle physical workload and troubleshoot.
- Deadline and detailed-oriented.
- Reliable means of transportation.
- Professional appearance.
- Proven ability to be prompt and on time every day.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision as needed, however, follow directions as given.
- Follow all confidentially, fair housing laws and safety requirements.
- Required to pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
