Role Overview:
Seeking an experienced IT Sales Business Development Manager (BDM) and Client Partner to drive strategic growth, manage key enterprise relationships, and expand the company’s footprint across targeted accounts. This role combines new business acquisition, account growth, and executive-level client engagement, ensuring delivers measurable value through digital transformation, cloud, data, consulting, and managed services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Sales
- Identify, pursue, and win new business opportunities in the IT services and digital transformation space.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects across assigned industries or territories.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles including opportunity qualification, RFP responses, solution positioning, pricing, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with Infosys solution teams to develop winning proposals and tailored value propositions.
2. Client Partner / Account Management
- Serve as the primary executive point of contact for assigned client accounts.
- Drive account strategy, revenue growth, and client satisfaction.
- Develop multi-year account roadmaps aligned with client digital priorities.
- Expand service penetration across consulting, cloud, data, application services, modernization, AI, cybersecurity, and managed services.
- Manage account P&L, forecasting, revenue targets, and growth metrics.
3. Relationship Management
- Build strong C-suite and senior stakeholder relationships within client organizations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to clients on technology and business transformation.
- Represent in key client meetings, steering committees, and executive reviews.
4. Delivery & Operations Collaboration
- Work closely with delivery leaders to ensure successful execution of ongoing programs.
- Monitor performance, proactively address risks, and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Align internal resources to meet client objectives and growth plans.
5. Market & Industry Expertise
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies.
- Use market insights to identify new opportunities and shape client conversations.
- Leverage Infosys digital capabilities and partner ecosystem (AWS, Azure, GCP, SAP, etc.) to differentiate offerings.
Required Qualifications:
- 8–15 years of IT services sales, business development, or client management experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding multi-million-dollar revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of digital transformation, cloud, data & analytics, application development, modernization, and managed services.
- Experience working with global delivery models and offshore/onsite engagement structures.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to engage with senior client leadership and influence decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
