The typical starting salary range for this position can vary depending on several factors such as geographic location, education, experience, and skill set. The full salary range for this position is designed to provide employees with the opportunity to progress and grow within their positions and reflects the competitive market value for these positions across the national market. GBLI, also offers a total compensation plan including bonuses for all positions.
Typical annualized starting salary range for this position:
$50,000 to $96,000
This range reflects base salary only and is not inclusive of bonus potential and other compensation considerations as it relates to the role
Essential Duties & Functions
- Meet with business and/or leadership to discuss reporting needs, recommending layout, structure and KPIs worth monitoring
- Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations (including reports, dashboards, and ad hoc extracts) through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources
- Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences
- Ensure data integrity by implementing quality assurance practices, gathering, and entering missing data and resolving any anomalies
- Update existing reports with additional requirements as requested by business and/or leadership
- Ensure Power BI reports are successfully connected to gateways and scheduled to refresh on time. Additionally, troubleshoot any reporting errors (i.e. data inaccuracies) or report refresh errors
- Assist in other team’s projects involving predictive modelling and 3rd party data solutions as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business intelligence, data analytics, computer science or related field
- 6 months to 3 years of related experience
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
- Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and basic SQL
- Ability to follow established analytical processes with guidance
- Eagerness to learn new tools, techniques, and business domains
- Python, R or other data programming experience a plus
