Director of Food and Beverage

Retirement Unlimited, Inc. (RUI), a premier Independent Living and Assisted Living community, is seeking a dynamic and service-driven Director of Food & Beverage to lead our front-of-the-house culinary team! In this leadership role, you will oversee dining room operations and ensure every meal service reflects RUI's high standards of quality, warmth, and hospitality. You'll lead a team dedicated to creating an exceptional dining experience for residents and their guests.

• Supervise dining room staff to ensure exceptional service during all meal periods.
• Assign, coordinate, and oversee daily responsibilities of servers and hosts/hostesses.
• Train, coach, and support team members to deliver consistent, high-quality hospitality service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment.
• Ensure meals are served promptly, at proper temperature, and presented in an appealing manner.
• Lead closing procedures for dining and kitchen areas in accordance with community policies and standards.
• Set a strong example for staff through professionalism, teamwork, and hands-on leadership.
• Maintain working knowledge of all departmental policies, procedures, and operational expectations.

• Leadership experience in food service, dining operations, or hospitality management.
• Strong ability to train, motivate, and develop front-of-house teams.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• A hands-on leadership style with a commitment to service excellence.
• Ability to maintain high standards in cleanliness, efficiency, and presentation.
